The following local community members may be contacted for direction in developing a personal and family emergency plan as well assisting in their area of expertise.
Seattle Office of Emergency Management's Auxiliary Communications Service (ACS):
  • Alan Scott, AC7MX,
  • Bruce Sherman, N7EQL,
Amateur (HAM) radio operators able to provide information on becoming a HAM radio operator and for existing licensees to support the Seattle Office of Emergency Management's Seattle ACS.

Cheryl Dyer, Loyal Heights Hub Captain and SNAP trainer,
Coordinator for Hub volunteers that staff the nearby Loyal Heights Community Center providing a neighborhood location for residents to seek information, request assistance, and provide resources to the community during an emergency. As a Seattle Neighborhoods Actively Prepare (SNAP) trainer, Cheryl instructs residents in emergency preparedness.

Garnet Shepherd, FEMA Community Emergency Response Team (CERT),
Trained as a CERT member and interested in building a network of CERT members in the North Beach and neighboring community.

Jim Jarvie, North Beach board member,
Engaged in emergency preparedness and available to answer resident inquiries on preparedness and direct those with an interest in volunteering to needs within the community.
