The following local community members may be contacted for direction in developing a personal and family emergency plan as well assisting in their area of expertise.
Seattle Office of Emergency Management's Auxiliary Communications Service (ACS):

Amateur (HAM) radio operators able to provide information on becoming a HAM radio operator and for existing licensees to support the Seattle Office of Emergency Management's Seattle ACS.

Cheryl Dyer, Loyal Heights Hub Captain and SNAP trainer, cheryldy@msn.com
Coordinator for Hub volunteers that staff the nearby Loyal Heights Community Center providing a neighborhood location for residents to seek information, request assistance, and provide resources to the community during an emergency. As a Seattle Neighborhoods Actively Prepare (SNAP) trainer, Cheryl instructs residents in emergency preparedness.
